Meet the Masters : more than 50 years of combined experience
Davide Smoquina
Davide Smoquina is a seasoned professional in the textile industry with a career defined by his long-standing association with the Chargeurs Group and a deep expertise in specialized materials. He began his journey in 1999 with Bertero, marking a successful transition into the textile sector from a completely different professional background. Over the following thirteen years, Davide established himself as a global ambassador for the brand, traveling extensively to promote premium camel and horsehair products and Italian-engineered pre-made solutions to international markets.
After a decade-long period of exploring other professional ventures, Davide rejoined the Chargeurs Group in 2023, bringing his extensive historical knowledge back to the organization. Currently, he plays a key role in supporting the pre-made products division, where he leverages his international perspective and decades of experience to drive the growth of the Italian textile solutions he first began championing over twenty-five years ago.
Stefano Morelli
Stefano Morelli is an experienced entrepreneur and executive in the textile and apparel accessories industry, with a career spanning several decades. Born into a family with a strong textile background, he began his professional journey early, working alongside his father and contributing to the development of innovative distribution activities in Italy. Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, he later co-founded a company that grew from a small operation into a leading international player, which he eventually transferred to a larger industrial group while continuing to lead and develop it for many years.
In 2013, he joined Chargeurs PCC as Premade Director, bringing his expertise to further develop the division. Throughout his career, Stefano has been recognized for his entrepreneurial vision, leadership, and commitment to customer service, as well as his ability to build long-term international relationships within the industry.
