Chargeurs PCC announces exceptional surcharge in response to global energy crisis
PARIS, April 8, 2026 - In response to significant disruptions in global energy and logistics markets, Chargeurs PCC, a leading global player in solutions for the fashion and luxury industries, announced the implementation of an exceptional and temporary surcharge of 4.5% applicable to all its invoices worldwide effective May 1, 2026.
A strategic choice to maintain production standards
Since the beginning of the year, the global textile industry has faced a sharp rise in external costs. Energy prices, essential for the manufacturing of base polymers and thermal processing, have surged. On the logistics front, the situation remains strained by soaring fuel prices and increased freight costs resulting from the rerouting of traditional shipping lanes.

A monitored mechanism with regular reassessment
The 4.5% surcharge will be clearly indicated on invoices. Designed as a temporary measure, the Group commits to reassessing energy and transport benchmarks every three months. As soon as global market conditions allow for a sustainable reduction in costs, this contribution will be adjusted or lifted.
